Condition

Every piece is described honestly and in detail. Condition notes — including missing stones, replaced components, tarnish, and wear — are documented in the Object Record of each listing. These are not flaws to be hidden; they are part of the provenance. If you have questions about a piece’s condition before purchasing, please contact us.

Authenticity

All pieces are represented to the best of our knowledge based on research, hallmarks, maker’s marks, and material analysis. Tarnish Fine is not a certified gemological laboratory. We do not guarantee independent appraisal values.

Shipping

Orders are shipped with care and fully insured. Tracking information will be provided upon dispatch. Tarnish Fine is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs.

Sizing

Ring sizes and dimensions are listed in each Object Record. Antique rings are often difficult or impossible to resize without affecting the piece. Please verify sizing carefully before purchasing. We do not offer resizing services at this time.

Returns

All items sold by Tarnish Fine are one-of-a-kind antique and vintage pieces. Non-customized pieces can be returned or exchanged within 10 days of delivery if in unworn condition. Please read each listing carefully, including the Object Record and condition notes, before purchasing.
