Signed Art Nouveau Citrine & Seed Pearl Lavalier Pendant
Here you can take a piece of its late summer warmth with you.
This Art Nouveau lavalier pendant, made by Garland Fisher Co. of Newark, New Jersey, c. 1915, is a pristine representative of the movement’s obsession with the natural world. Three faceted citrines glow like late afternoon sun. The 27 seed pearls bloom along the 10k gold stems like the white gladiolus that bloomed in my August garden.
This is the kind of American jewelry that gets me out of bed in the morning — delicate, strange, and romantic.
