Steeped in Victorian mourning tradition, this striking choker necklace is hand carved from genuine Whitby Jet, the prized fossilized wood mined from the cliffs of Whitby, England. Deeply lustrous jet mariner chain links frame the fern pendant, a symbol of sincerity and humility. Undeniably antique yet a strikingly modern look. This one is hard for me to let go.

Your Tarnish acquisition ships from our studio in Boston, Massachusetts within 1–3 business days. Each piece is packaged with archival materials from TALAS in Brooklyn to be reused for your heirlooms.
