A little wearable chandelier. Around the turn of the 20th century, Art Nouveau jewelers took the lavalier silhouette in a more organic direction: curling metalwork vines, pastel enamel flowers, and glowing gemstones chosen for beauty rather than value.

To me, this one looks like a vine tendril weighed down with seed pearls like morning dewdrops. The white gold leaves curl around an old European cut diamond, a hand cut predecessor of the modern brilliant cut.
